Raspberry Pi 3 adds Wi-Fi Bluetooth
This mini motherboard is not something be cause it has had versions before it. The little board named Raspberry Pi is getting more buffs added to it. In this version called Raspberry Pi 3 they have added WiFi to the board. This will open the door more possibilities and potential for he small tank. Developers really have something they use from this little God. The main bonus to this is the price tag which is only $35 dollars.
Wow, I can't wait to see what people come up with using this as an implemented item into their projects. The main use for this board has been in the education industry. The use is more for individual PCs that needed to be hooked up to the internet. Now, they can do it wireless instead of cable usage. The other functions such as Bluetooth would be more important to hobbyists and researchers to collect data sensors. No more directly connecting to any of these pathways. Other peripheral devices all at once like a wireless keyboard and mouse. This has really turned into a real PC in my eyes. Raspberry has its own OS which is Linux based I do believe. This board by adding WiFi and Bluetooth just kicked it up a notch more. OK lets take a look at the speed boost it has gotten also.
Raspberry Pi 3
- 64-bit Quad Core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A53 - Use to be 900 MHz 32 Bit Processor
- Ram at 1GB
This is a 50 percent boost from what it has in older versions of this board. With these specs this is a real PC I have to say. Like I said, there are so many things that can use this small technology for research projects, robotics and schools.
