EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti VR EDITION

VR based video card from EVGA is here.  Announcing the one and only but more to come EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti VR EDITION.  This card is great for being one of the first but as always there is a set back in compatibility.  The Oculus Rift will require four USB connections this card doesn't have that many.  The HMDI cable will be an issue as it will bend sooner or later.

I always wait till the technology of things are of aged and perfect.  We often we free samples and review them but to buy right away without time compatibility known its a no go.  Game developers are about to get a new taste of something sweet.  The doors are wide open for game developers now to be one of the first several to pull off something out of this world.

VR is opening the doors to ground breaking changes and EVGA is at the fore front.  The 980 Ti video card is amazing and would be the first to touch on this area.  This card will not be cheap as to be expected.

These cards are not cheap right now for sure.  You will see that the VR editions are going for a good seven hundred bucks from the get start.  Remember, to make sure that all headsets will be compatible before buying.  This is one of the things that might limit their video card is compatibility.  The marketing for the Oculus Rift I am sure will have a big push than the others.  We shall see what happens in do time.  I would wait for the next edition personally or something more fully compatible with all peripheral headsets.
